September 3, 2007 My wife and I completed the tour which started on Friday, August 31 to September 3. We went clockwise and had beautiful weather. Our favorite spot was spending a day at the Willows B&B in Rossport, Ontario. Kevin & Debra Ridsdale, Livonia, Michigan August 25, 2007 I circled Lake Superior on my motorcycle between August 18th and 25th. Highway 41 North into Copper Harbor was the best motorcycle road I’d been on until I came back south on Highway 26. Just beautiful! Seth Fisher, Everett, Washington August 27, 2007 Started Duluth to Canada to Sault Ste. Marie to Mackinac to Duluth. One week: August 20-27. Minnesota shore to Thunder Bay: prettiest. Enjoyed the stay at Thunder Bay, Ontario. House of Butterflies on Mackinac Island. First time tour. Richard Freeman, Burbank, California September 9, 2007 Finished it September 9, 2007 - Five days! Copper Harbor was a favorite spot. Marathon to Thunder Bay, Ontario, was the best drive. Weather was pretty bad, but it was still beautiful. Jim Ege, Pentwater, Michigan September 1, 2007 Charles Norman Jr., Decatur, Illinois September 14, 2007 Our favorite part of the trip was the scenery between Nipigon and Sault Ste. Marie. Completed the tour in 7 days, September 7-14. Louis & Karen Baxton, Duluth, Minnesota September 28, 2007 Did the Circle Tour with a bus tour. Left on Sept. 24th and returned home September 28th. Lake Superior Magazine is beautiful. Loved the locks! Wonderful trip, they kept ya’ going and seeing lots of places. Our favorite places were the Suspension Bridge at Eagle River Canyon, Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point, Kakabeka Falls in Thunder Bay. Brenda Emond & Paul Clayton, Barrie, Ontario October 5, 2007 My wife, Carol, and I took the tour starting from the Soo going north and west around the lake Sept. 28 and completed the trip Oct 5, 2007. We couldn’t have picked a better time for a fall trip. It was breathtaking. Our favorite part was Copper Harbor. Coldwater, Michigan October 2007 Went west to east.
